Links on reading papers efficiently

I had got and heard some ideas on how to read papers efficiently, but I have never examined them systematically. Since I have to read many papers to understand the literature or find a specific solution, it will help a lot to have some strategies for reading.

Here are some guides that I have found, sorted in reverse chronological order. I would probably make a summary when I have time but now I just keep it as is.

  1. The three-pass approach, 2016
  2. How to Read a Technical Paper by Jason Eisner (JHU), 2009
  3. Efficient Reading of Papers in Science and Technology, 2000

Good luck!
